Reflections on play, learning and early childhood
This space brings together reflections from my work with families, educators and young children, alongside my own experience of parenthood.
Here I explore play and early childhood, sharing observations, questions and personal experiences that invite deeper reflection on childhood today and how we support the next generation.
You’ll find new reflections here as ideas take shape and questions continue to grow, drawn from practice, partnership and everyday moments with children.
When time is felt, not filled
Time is something I find myself returning to again and again. Not in an abstract sense, but in the very real, lived experience of daily life with a young child.
The more I have thought about it, the more I come to the same conclusion: time is not simply scarce, it is being quietly eroded by the way we now live.
