I’ve spent my career leading and supporting schools across the UK, Thailand, Germany and Switzerland, helping to shape new learning communities and guide teams through their earliest stages of growth. These experiences have given me a broad and nuanced understanding of what childhood and early learning can look like in different contexts — and, most importantly, what connects them: the steady presence of time, trust and human connection.
I hold a Master of Education from the University of Cambridge and have served in school leadership positions since the start of my teaching journey. Yet it was becoming a mother that truly transformed my perspective, deepening my empathy for families and helping me understand first-hand the pressures, emotions and daily balancing act that so many of us face as parents.
My work is rooted in early childhood, where the patterns of trust, curiosity and respect are first formed. I believe that play is far more than a stage of development — it is how children build relationships, make sense of their world and learn to listen as much as to lead. When adults spend real, present time alongside children in play, connection naturally deepens and gentle boundaries become part of that relationship rather than a struggle against it. Through play, adults earn children’s trust — and with trust, learning and respect can truly grow.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working closely with hundreds of families and educators across cultures. I don’t claim to have the answers to modern parenting or early education, but I do bring the insight that comes from deep listening: hearing many stories, seeing what helps and what hinders, and making sense of it all through experience. Whether supporting parents at home or educators in Kitas/schools, my work is about creating calm, connected environments where curiosity, confidence and meaningful relationships can thrive — for children, and for the adults guiding them.
