My Approach
How I work
Every partnership begins with a calm conversation — a chance to understand your story, your setting, and what has brought you here.
Before we do anything, we take time to clarify three simple questions together:
Why do something?
Why now?
Why with me?
This shared clarity matters. It ensures that any support we explore is purposeful, realistic, and grounded in your lived experience.
At the heart of my work are two guiding beliefs:
Time shapes connection, and play drives learning.
I observe before I guide
Whether I’m entering a family home or a Kita, I begin by listening and observing.
I pay attention to:
the rhythms of the day
how adults respond to children during play
where connection feels strong
where overwhelm appears
what the environment makes easy — and what it makes harder
The aim is never to judge, but to understand. Meaningful change only works when it fits who you are, rather than following a fixed template.
I focus on presence and responsiveness
Children learn best when adults are present, curious, and responsive.
I support adults to:
join play without taking over
follow a child’s lead with confidence
notice thinking as it unfolds
respond in ways that deepen learning and connection
These are not complex strategies. They are subtle shifts in how we show up — and they make a profound difference.
I support change that feels possible
My aim is always to lighten the load, not add to it.
For families, that might mean:
simplifying daily rhythms
easing the pressure of “doing it all”
spotting learning moments that were easy to miss
joining play with confidence and calm
For Kitas or schools, that might mean:
moving from adult-led routines to richer child-led inquiry
strengthening planning in the moment
improving communication so trust with families grows
building environments where children’s thinking is visible
Whether at home or in a setting, the focus is on changes that are sustainable, human, and genuinely supportive.
I work alongside you
I don’t arrive with expert answers or one-size-fits-all solutions.
I bring experience, research-informed practice, and lived empathy — and then we shape next steps together.
I want people to finish our work together feeling:
lighter
clearer
more confident
deeply connected to the children in their care
Choosing the level of support
Not every partnership looks the same, and it doesn’t need to.
Some people come for a small amount of guidance. Others want more sustained support around a specific focus. A few choose deeper, immersive work over time.
During an initial conversation, we explore what feels right for you — and shape a level of support that fits your needs, capacity, and values.
Practicalities
Support can be offered in person or online, depending on location and focus.
Pricing varies according to the type and duration of support, and I’m always happy to talk this through during a free introductory call.
